What Homezel is for

Homezel is a planning aid. A result is only as good as the measurements you type. It is not a bid, a permit, a soil test, or a substitute for a licensed contractor, engineer, electrician, plumber, or HVAC designer. Local code and the product label win if they disagree with a webpage.

How you may use the tools

You may use the calculators and guides for your own home and garden projects at no charge. Do not scrape, resell, or wrap our pages as if they were your product without written permission. The Homezel name and mark stay with us. Browse the tools from All Tools.

Accuracy and risk

We work to keep formulas honest, but materials vary, rooms are rarely perfect rectangles, and waste is a judgment call. If you buy too much or too little because of a number on this site, that cost is yours. Read About us for how we think about that responsibility.

User content

If you send a note through Contact us, you give us permission to read it and to reply. Do not send anything you do not have the right to share.

Site changes

We can update a calculator, take a page down, or change these terms. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Keep using the site after a change means you accept the new text.

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Homezel is not liable for lost time, extra material, property damage, or project outcomes that follow from using a calculator or article.
